About this person

Toichiev Tasbolat Toishyuly

Toichiev Tasbolat Toishyuly was born in 1936 in the village of Dihanköl. His childhood coincided with the Great Patriotic War. Even as a child, he endured the hardships experienced by the entire nation. However, the wisdom instilled in him by his mother made him mature early...
A bright and capable boy, he completed the seven-year village school with excellent marks in 1950 and graduated from the school in Kaskasu with a gold medal in 1953.

Tasbolat was a role model for the youth of the village — he showed respect to elders, kindness to the young, and served as a support not only for his family but for the whole community. His mother, Atyn-apa, served as the head of the kolkhoz and later as the chairwoman of the Kalinin rural council. She successfully instilled in her son national values, wise guidance, and love for the Kazakh people.

In 1954–1955, the talented and sharp-minded young man worked as a teacher at the school in his native village of Dihanköl.

In 1956, he entered the Shymkent Chemical Technology Institute and graduated with honors in 1961.

From 1961 to 1992, working as a construction engineer in various regions of the country, he advanced from a simple foreman to high-ranking positions, earning recognition from the state. As an inventor, he introduced several innovations into production and, in 1982*, received government recognition and became a professor.

He was awarded the titles and honors: Honored Builder of the Kazakh SSR, the Orders of the Badge of Honor and the Red Banner, medals “For Labor Distinction,” “Veteran of Labor,” “Excellence in Civil Defense of the USSR,” the Honorary Certificate of the Kazakh SSR; he was multiple times a winner of socialist competitions and a shock worker of the five-year plan. By decree of Nazarbayev, he was awarded the title of Honored Builder and became an honorary builder of Baikonur.

Between 1976 and 1980, using his own resources, he brought clean spring water to the village through a pipeline. The uniqueness of the project was that water reached every home under high natural pressure without the use of electricity. This greatly improved public health, as earlier people had to use dirty irrigation water or carry clean water from afar, which was extremely difficult. The village began to flourish. Even today, households can keep large numbers of livestock thanks to this system. The people remain grateful. But the will of Allah is inevitable...

At the age of 57, on May 2nd, 1992, during the day, on his way to work in Almaty, he passed away in his car from a heart attack. He was survived by his only son, Nurzhan, and his daughter, Aliya. His wife, Duysebayeva Aues, passed away on September 16, 1996. May their souls be blessed! Amen!

He was laid to rest in the village of Dihanköl.
