Orazbakov Abilkhair Abdikhanuly
Orazbakov Abilkhair Abdikhanuly was born on January 21, 1973.

He is a member of the Eurasian Union of Designers, a member of the Kazakh Art Association, and the Akmola Handicraft Organization. He is a master craftsman whose works were included in the books “Heritage of the Ancestors”, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Y. Altynsarin, and another edition of the same book dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ayu Baitursynuly.

He has been awarded a medal for his contribution to Kazakh art. He is a well-known leather craftsman and ethno-designer in Kazakhstan, with his works featured in Astanа’s 5th and 7th grade local history textbooks. He currently resides in Astana.
His son is Aksелеu and his daughter is Aksеzim.

“Our goal is to preserve Kazakh traditional crafts, continue our national art, and present Turkic craftsmanship to the entire world,” he says.

He creates sculptures made from processed animal hides. All items are handmade and sewn using traditional Kazakh techniques.
